Congratulations to our very own Madam Kaltuma Sama, Head Librarian at the Buruburu branch!!!! Ms Kaltuma has been invited to speak about public library innovation under the topic ‘The passion about the profession drives library Innovation’ during the 5th African Library & Information Associations and Institutions’ at the AfLIA & 7th African Library Summit to be held Ghana from 22nd to 26th May 2023.

The conference, themed ‘Future of learning, libraries and sustainable development in Africa’, will delve into the various strands and possibilities of the future of learning. It will also explore how different types of libraries can adapt to this landscape to provide library and information services that foster learning.

Madam Kaltuma Sama’s presentation, titled ‘The passion about the profession drives library innovation’, promises to contribute valuable insights to this important discourse. We are proud to have her represent
our institution at this esteemed event.
