Born in 1967, Mr. Stephen G. Mau Kimani became an alternate Board member representing the Principal Secretary State Department for Culture and Heritage in November 2019. Mr. Mau holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree (KU); Postgraduate Diploma in Librarianship (MUK)and Bachelor of Arts degree (UON).
Experience: Mr. Mau is a career civil servant with vast experience in the field of library and information services. Currently the Ag. Director in the Department of Library Services, he has served as a librarian in various government ministries and departments including the ministry of information, Kenya Institute of Mass Communications e.t.c
Born in 1968, Dr. Nzivo was appointed as the CEO with effect from 9th Sept 2022. He holds a PhD Library Science from Wuhan University – Hubei, Chaina; Msc. Information Science from Makerere University, Uganda and a BA (Anthropology) from University of Nairobi. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Nzivo was in Charge of Technical Service functions of Kenya National Library Service Board, as Deputy Director.
Experience: Dr. Nzivo has worked with knls since 1994, in various capacities including: Head of Branch Library; Head of Research Development Department; Coordinating all the 64 knls branch library Network on matters Technical and Administration as well.
Paul Kibet has over 30 years’ experience in public service under the education sector. He previously served as a High School Principal before current promotion to the position of Director Secondary Education, under the Ministry of Education
He has a Master of Science Degree in Physics
