At the Kenya National Library Service (KNLS), we proudly uphold this responsibility through the legal deposit system.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"service-exact-grid service-exact-grid--two\">\n  <section>\n    <h3>What is Legal Deposit?<\/h3>\n    <p>The Books and Newspapers Act, Cap 111 (1987) mandates every publisher in Kenya to submit two copies of each newly published title to KNLS within 14 days of publication.
